LoStone Ember is a warm, burnt red stoneware clay enriched with subtle salmon undertones at lower firing temperatures. Its rich, earthy surface makes it perfect for expressive ceramic forms, offering depth and character that evolves beautifully through the firing range.

As part of Valentine clays pioneering LoStone range, Ember is the UK’s first low-fire red stoneware, vitrifying at 1160°C. Traditionally, red stoneware has required higher firing temperatures, but LoStone Ember challenges convention, delivering the strength, warmth, and surface quality of high-fire clays while firing at significantly lower temperatures.
